About Me |
Thanks for visiting my web site, my name is Anne Rollins. In 1994,
I took my first quilting class with three fellow nurses, and have
never looked back. I have taken numerous classes and workshops
since, hoping to gain the machine quilting skills needed to complete
my projects. Despite all efforts, I never felt comfortable trying
to shove a quilt around under the needle of my trusty Bernina.

In 2001, I bought a Gammill Optimum Plus long-arm quilting machine
so I could finish all the quilt tops I had stacked in the cupboard.
Since that time, I have quilted tops for the same friends I began
this adventure with, as well as for new quilting friends I have met
along the way. With their encouragement, I started "Works of
Heart" in 2002, and have increased my skills and knowledge
through classes, videos, and hands-on training. It is my goal to
one day quilt my way out of nursing and into a second, more creative
career.

What You Can Expect From Me |
|
Often accused of being a perfectionist, I take pride in my work and will
treat your quilt top with the respect I give my own. I know you have put
many hours of labor into your project and consider it a prized possession.
I will make every effort to share the vision you have for your quilt, and
will execute your instructions to the best of my ability. To achieve this
goal, I will communicate with you regarding any decision that might impact
the final appearance or price of your quilt. I appreciate the trust you
have placed in me, and will do my best to see that your quilt is returned
safely to you after I have completed my work. I work in a totally smoke-free
environment.
